On 23rd Feb, Mayfair Fine Wines joined hand with Château Le Pin and held an exclusive cross-cultural wine tasting at Janfo Palace, Forbidden City in Beijing. Located in the central of Beijing, Mayfair carefully chosen the traditional palace as the event site in order to bring a differential and extraordinary experience for our honored guests. The MW of Château Le Pin-Mr. Jacques Thienpont and Ms. Fiona Morrison shared with us the story of Château Le Pin and led guests to taste two of the memorable trio of vintages to end the golden eighties in Bordeaux (1990 & 1988). It has well showed the rich and exotic style. Dinner ended with the impressive tasting of Vieux Château Certan 1947, which was one of the series of six exceptional vintages of VCC harvested in the years: 1940, 1943, 1945, and 1947-1950. Guests had a special and unique experience.
